The home stretch...

Here it is at long last. This coming May, Caleb will be graduating from Central Christian College with his BofA in Biblical Research. He will ALSO be finishing his two year internship in the same month. There are mixed emotions about both of these. For the past few years, Caleb has invested his time and energies into his schooling and internship and he has learned a lot. God has carried him through ups and downs during this time, and he has grown as a Godly leader in our family, with our friends, in our church and at his school.

It's strange looking ahead. We have no idea what is in store for us in the years to come. We do know that we are going to stay in Columbia for at least a few years and work to pay off our student loan debt. We also want to continue to grow at Karis and develop more as leaders in the community we're in. I'm not sure where God will take us after that, but it is our desire to continue in ministry.

The next few months will bring a lot of changes. Caleb will be getting a full-time job, hopefully where I work. I recently changed jobs and am now working for Veterans United Home Loans. It is a very good company and a lot less stress then the manager job at Walmart. We're hoping that Caleb will be able to get hired as an IT guy, as that is an interest and a talent of his. He's always been really good at computers. Along with job changes we will also be once again moving in the summer. We have a great opportunity to rent a large house with another couple that is involved in ministry at Karis. We're excited about this opportunity to live in community with our friends. With the intentions of being prepared for ministry and church planting, we are looking forward to the many challenges that will grow us into leaders living out our faith. This move is looking to happen in July.

Be praying for the changes that are to come soon, and pray for Caleb that he can finish well in both school and his internship. The next few weeks will be crunch time and your prayers are appreciated. Thank you for them and thank you for your support. We have been amazingly blessed by God through our friends and family.

More to come later.

Cheers.
